Partners · Local authorities

A bridge between residents and the services you already run.

Council teams, housing services, libraries, family hubs and neighbourhood teams will help us connect residents to the support that already exists — and show where the gaps sit.

Why your sector matters

Public services know better than anyone which streets, wards and families need a different kind of help. Rather than adding another layer, we will work alongside what you already provide — so residents get a personal plan when a service queue is not the right answer.

How you will help

Nothing here commits your organisation today. These are the ways we expect local authorities partners to make the difference — agreed together, in writing, before anything begins.

1

Signpost to us

Point residents to us when they need a personal plan and a steady guide rather than a service queue.

2

Offer public spaces

Provide rooms, halls and noticeboards where the programme could meet, and where people can discover it on their own terms.

3

Share local insight

Tell us which neighbourhoods and communities need the most help, so our first efforts go where they matter.

4

Keep us honest

Challenge our plans so they fit alongside, and never duplicate or contradict, what the council already provides.

What we will provide

  • A named contact and clear written expectations on both sides.
  • Consent-led connections — people decide whether to be linked with us.
  • Anonymised counts and themes showing where help is needed most, never personal data.
  • Recognition only if and when you ask for it.

The time it will take

A first conversation of about 30 minutes, then whatever you agree. Many partners will begin with a few hours a quarter.

“One pebble, dropped with care, will reach further than you would ever expect.”
Isa Matias · Founder, Ripple Pebble Project
