Partners · Voluntary & community

Kind neighbours make the strongest ripples.

Charities, faith groups, community centres and resident associations will help us stay rooted in the neighbourhoods we serve — no duplication, no competition.

Why your sector matters

The voluntary sector knows the UK from the ground up: who is lonely, which halls are warm, where trust already exists. Working together means residents meet one connected circle of help instead of a scatter of well-meant signs.

How you will help

Nothing here commits your organisation today. These are the ways we expect voluntary & community partners to make the difference — agreed together, in writing, before anything begins.

1

Share your spaces

Offer halls, rooms and corners where sessions could happen, and where people already feel they belong.

2

Co-deliver

Run sessions or events together where our aims clearly meet, without either side overreaching.

3

Make introductions

Introduce residents who would benefit and welcome them with the kindness your communities are known for.

4

Open your networks

Connect us into mailing lists, forums and community voices so our plans are shaped by real local hands.

What we will provide

  • A named contact and clear written expectations on both sides.
  • Consent-led connections — people decide whether to be linked with us.
  • Anonymised counts and themes showing what the community needed, never personal data.
  • Recognition only if and when you ask for it.

The time it will take

A first conversation of about 30 minutes, then whatever you agree. Many partners will begin with a few hours a quarter.

“One pebble, dropped with care, will reach further than you would ever expect.”
Isa Matias · Founder, Ripple Pebble Project
